Anthony Wayne Band Boosters

The Jazz Band will perform at the Whitehouse Fire Department Breakfast on Sunday, December 11th. We will perform twice; once at 10:30 and once at 11:30am. Jazz Band members should meet at the High School at 9:45am.

December 12, 7pm, HS Auditorium. Students need to report to the band room by 6:30. Students need to wear khaki pants and a band polo shirt.

The Anthony Wayne Symphonic Band will participate in the Capital University 2011 Wind Band Invitational and New Band Music Reading Clinic on November 18th.  The band will perform at 4:30 pm on Friday, November 18.

All performances will be in Mees Hall of the Conservatory of Music and are open to the public and free of charge.

Schedule for the day

Students should eat Lunch A and then come to the band room.

Students should wear nice casual clothes (khakis, collared shirts, sweaters, etc.) for the bus ride to Columbus. Concert wear will be hung on racks in one of the buses. After arriving at Capital, we will change into our concert dress. After the concert, we will change back into our casual clothes and go to the Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner. We will leave our instruments in a locked classroom until we return to Capital. Students should bring $10 to help cover dinner to school by Thursday. After dinner we will return to Capital for the Capital Symphonic Winds Concert.

The Symphonic Band will be presenting a concert on Thursday, November 10 at 7:00pm in the auditorium. The band will be playing the same concert that will be presented at Capital University on November 18 as part of the Capital University New Band Music Reading Clinic. Report time for the Symphonic Band will be 6:15pm.

In the gym. Concert: 7pm. Report: 6:15pm. Seniors: bring your banners.

Anthony Wayne High School will host a Veteran's Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 10 at 1:00pm in the Auditorium. Community members are invited to help us honor those who have fought for the freedoms that we enjoy today. The Symphonic Band will be providing music before and during the assembly.
