Race for the Cure

Students who have volunteered to play for RFTC should be at the school on Sunday at 8:00am. We should return to AWHS by 11:00am. Students should wear either a Race for the Cure, Joggin for Jeri, Generals Knock Out Cancer, or Anthony Wayne Band T-Shirt and pants or shorts. More about the event.

Race for the Cure

The Race for the Cure will be held on Sunday, September 26th. Any students would like to play in a pep band for that event should sign up on the band room door. Report time for this event is 8:00am. We should be back to the school by 11:15am. See komennwohio.org for more information about the race.

Heart Walk

Event Details: 
The pep band will be performing at the Northwest Ohio Heartwalk at the University of Toledo on Saturday, May 22. This event will be in the morning and we will play as the participants walk (similar to the Race for the Cure). Sign-up sheets are on the band room door. Report at 7:45am.

Race for the Cure Pep Band

Event Details: 
Students who have committed to playing for the Race for the Cure should meet at the high school at 7:15am on Sunday, September 27th. Load and depart at 7:30am. We will play at the corner of Summit and Cherry Streets beginning at 8:45am. The buses should arrive back at the school by noon.

Students can wear either their blue marching band t-shirt or one of the race for the cure shirts being sold at school.
